I like the house, the landlord, and the place!

Ana and her house are amazing. The place is cosy and relaxing and the people that Live there are very kind. I had a great time.

The place is really nice and looks like the pictures but it’s not on the beach as the description said. It’s about 7-10 min walk away. It’s also an apartment and not a house. The apartment is on the first floor with elevator access if needed. The internet was not great, we asked to get this fixed and it took a couple of days to get a response, the speed didn’t improve so we had to rely on our hotspot for remote work. The mobile data speed in the flat was very fast on our network. The landlord insists of cleaning the bed linen for you, which didn’t seem to be optional but it is included in the price. Landlord has little to no English but there is the option to communicate via the agency who do speak English. We did most of the communication via WhatsApp and Google translate. There were issues with the hot water not always running. This was sporadic and sometimes it works, sometimes it didn’t. The washing machine broke 2 days prior to move out which was just bad timing as it meant we couldn’t clean the towels and last min things before move out. We asked if they wanted us to get the flat professionally cleaned and the agency said no. But later the landlord complained the towels were not cleaned, although the machine has broken so not sure what we were meant to do there, but so far we weren’t charged any extra for this. Overall the flat is good, no reason at all not to rent it again, the internet was probably the biggest thing for us as we were staying 6 weeks, but we found a solution with using our hotspot.

Very spacious studio apartment, the area is also very quiet and close to the beaches of Caparica. It was nice and tidy when I checked in.

A lovely very well equipped apartment in a fantastic location just outside of Sesimbra but with easy access to transport and shops. We felt very much at home and Ivã was very easy to communicate with.

We recently had the pleasure of staying in a wonderful apartment with the most incredible landlords Daniela and David. From the moment we arrived, they were friendly, attentive, and responsive to all our needs. They provided us with an abundance of advice about local sight-seeings, restaurants, activities, and specialties, which greatly enhanced our experience. The apartment itself is located in a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood, perfect for those looking to unwind. Just around the corner is a charming farmers market where we could buy fresh seafood, fruits, and vegetables daily. The location is ideal, being only a 5-minute drive from the ocean, where we enjoyed endless beautiful beaches, and just 25 minutes from the centre of Lisbon, making it easy to explore the city. The apartment is spacious, newly renovated, and well equipped, with a keen attention to small details that made our stay comfortable and pleasant. The big terrace was a highlight, offering a great place to relax. It truly felt like home and was perfect for a long stay, especially for digital nomads like us, thanks to the fast WiFi. We definitely recommend this apartment and would love to return in the future. It’s a fantastic place to stay with amazing landlords who go above and beyond to ensure you have a great experience.

Good and peaceful environment close to the beach, landlord is very helpful and nice

You know every other landlord it is a chance to get a new friend. And the case with Denise is the one of these ones. We really happy to be guests of here apartment. My family and I spent almost three weeks in fantastic Sesimbra with its the longest beaches and Mountain's Castly. Thank you for all. Denise always was available and helped us with all our questions. Apartment is really comfortable and has what you need. The Internet connection is stable and speedy. My husband and I worked from this location. Surround people are really friendly. Special thanks for the kitchen equipment. We would like to return one day. Our family consists of 3 members but the apartment is huge and suitable for 5-8 people. All rooms are big and light. The furniture is really good.

The stay was very pleasant. Luis with family are very friendly and welcoming. We felt like at home. Flat has everything you need for everyday life. The town is very lovely, the stay is close to the beach with own parking lot. We would love to come back in a future.

Jorge is the best host in our entire experience of 10 years of continuous travel. From the first message, Jorge provided detailed answers to all our questions. He provided invaluable assistance in obtaining a D visa to Portugal (made contract, made registration in Financas and so on); it is difficult for me to describe all the moments in which he proved himself not only as an excellent landlord, but also as a wonderful person. Thank you so much! I’ll tell you in more detail about the points that interest most tenants. We discussed check-in time with Jorge, but we were delayed for a couple of hours and arrived closer to midnight. Jorge and his wife met us at the apartment, gave us the keys and told us more about the apartment. By the way, they gave us a portuguese gift, which was so nice. For any question, he gave quick answers on WhatsApp and Flatio, even those that did not relate to the apartment. And he not only gave answers, but also helped us few times and still helping after we move out. The apartment is located on a slight hill five minutes walk from the historical center and the beach of Sesimbra. The place is quiet and with good friendly neighbors. View on the hills and trees. The sun light comes to apartment in the second part of the day. There is a free parking space in front of the house. The apartment is decorated in a minimalist style, very nice. There is everything for a comfortable life, from kitchen utensils to cleaning items. Fast Internet, Smart TV. There is a convenient place to work on a laptop/computer. The bedroom has roller shutters, which is convenient. I really recommend Jorge place in Sesimbra!

I had a lovely stay at David's apartment. The room was comfortable, and everything was very enjoyable. David was really communicative and easy to talk to. Luis the mischievous cat was also entertaining and cute! The location of the apartment is a nice area, very quiet and residential with a Lidl and other amenities nearby, and train station to Lisbon is 10/15 min walk away. However if you really want to be in Lisbon and experience the city life, this area might be too far/quiet for you. But it was perfect to get work done and easy to catch the train when I wanted to go to the centre (or you can also get light rail/ferry combination from Cacilhas). If I come back to Lisbon I would be happy to stay here again :)

I absolutely loved the stay in David’s apartment. I’m thankful for meeting David as he’s such a lovely person! The location is nearby the station, so you can be in Lisbon quickly. As well as it’s close to the beaches in Caparica. It’s quiet and the bed is comfortable. Loved the whole apartment. I’d definitely recommend to others. Thank you so much one more time🙂

This is a lovely country house, though the furniture is a bit worn. The property comes with a pool, which is cleaned by a staff member every week, so you can relax without worrying about anything until the owner shows up two days before the end of the contract. You may want to extend the contract, but be prepared for the owner to claim that you've consumed excessive electricity, water, and gas: Electricity: The owner calculates the meter readings for two months as if it were only one. Water: During my stay, there were only 17 days without recorded data. The owner assumes I was using 6 cubic meters of water per day, even though the rest of the time (when there are recorded readings), I used a maximum of 2.2 cubic meters of water per day, including automated lawn irrigation (which, by my estimation, is about 0.8 cubic meters per day). Gas: The house is equipped with gas cylinders delivered by the owner's staff. It's impossible to verify the amount of gas in these cylinders, as there are no receipts or confirmation of the owner's claimed volume. Without providing any evidence, the owner will start demanding a bribe outside of Flatio. If you suggest checking the meters and calculating expenses, the owner will refuse and claim that he knows better. In the end, on the last day of the lease, you'll have the choice of either paying a bribe equal to half the rent (900 euros) or looking for a new place to stay with your suitcase and child. If you mention that the contract includes utilities within 15% of the rent, you'll be told that the owner also includes maintenance of the property, such as staff and so on, in the utility bills. After two days of negotiations about the situation, I concluded that there was no overuse of utilities on my part. I offered to pay 50% of the cost of the specialist who checked the gas system, as the owner suspected my gas cylinder consumption (whether they were filled to 100% is unknown). If anyone intends to visit this place, there are several things you must do: Have an alternative place to live to avoid my situation, ALWAYS take photos of the meters and ask the agent to include these details in the contract, buy gas at gas stations and record your consumption daily.

Allan was exceptionally nice and communicative. The apartment itself was in great condition. The location is just a few blocks from the beach, multiple grocery stores, and many bus stops. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wish it could have been longer!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the apartment. It was cozy and comfortable with a charming little courtyard. The environment inside was tranquil, and every morning we were serenaded by the beautiful songs of birds. Despite staying during the hot season, the apartment maintained such a pleasant microclimate that we only felt the need to turn on the air conditioner about three times during our month-long stay. A special mention must go to the hosts – they were kind, open, and always ready to help or accommodate any needs. Thank you for your warm hospitality. We wholeheartedly recommend this place!

Exciting, clean and nice place, gorgeous views, lots of space, excellent host! Superior two balconies chasing the sun. Everything you need is in the apartment! That was a pleasure to be there!
