Firstly, the washing machine which was promised in the listing was missing upon my arrival. The landlord did assure me that it would be installed within the first two weeks and also promised to reimburse my expenses for using a public laundry service. He didn't. This was a minor inconvenience, which I was initially willing to overlook.
However, during my stay, the landlord repeatedly made requests for small favors. This ranged from picking up his bike from the street to photographing certain items within the apartment. These tasks were not what I expected to be responsible for as a guest.
The real disruption began when the landlord decided to undertake construction work in the bathroom to install the washing machine. This lasted half a day, which was a significant inconvenience. Following this, he tried to convince me to pay for the machine's delivery using my personal details and account, a clear breach of my privacy.
The tipping point came when, due to my commitments, I couldn’t fulfil one of his many requests. In response, he resorted to threats such as cutting off the internet and making deliberate construction noises in the kitchen, making it impossible to live peacefully.
From that point on, I felt it necessary to only communicate with him through Flatio support to ensure my personal safety and security.
In conclusion, I would not recommend staying at this property. While the apartment might be appealing on its surface, the landlord's behavior significantly detracted from my experience.
