Simonetta's place is amazing! I had a very restful time there. She and João (one of the apartment managers) were both so kind, hospitable, and accommodating. The apartment is beautiful, and had everything I needed. I am a graduate student, studying and working online, and the wifi was always excellent even for video calls. The location was perfect as well...It's a very quiet neighborhood with a nice view, and it was only a short walk to Alfama and other notable areas. I loved browsing around the nearby Santa Clara flea market which takes place a couple times a week. I would highly recommend Simonetta's place. I'm confident it will provide you with a wonderful experience of beautiful Lisbon!

We had a great stay at Eduardo's flat. Eduardo was incredibly helpful and communicative before, during and after our stay, which made us feel very welcome! He provided a house guide, and even arranged for a hairdryer to be dropped off when we needed one. The flat is in a lovely old building and well connected by bus and tram to the rest of Lisbon. The kitchen and bathroom are chilly in winter, but the living room and bedrooms have heaters and can be warmed up and made cosy very quickly. Campolide is directly in the flight path, so one does hear a lot of planes during the day, but one gets used to it. Overall a great place to stay in Lisbon.

Very nice location and a modern apartment! We had a great time and would recommend spending time there. Just a few minor problems occurred - the electricity situation is quite problematic, worse than we were informed about, especially if you like to cook. We couldn’t turn on the stovetop and the oven at the same time without everything getting dark. This might have been because of a hardware problem within the stovetop (it turned off by itself all the time) that was discovered after two weeks and was supposed to get fixed during the remainder of the stay. We got a supplement single cooking plate to use but we never heard more about fixing the real stovetop.

But on the whole - a nice place and a friendly and flexible landlord!

I don't want to repeat what others have already commented about furniture and heating, it is all true. I had a really good stay anyway. It is a nice flat in a good neighbourhood, 2 tram stations away from the main train station, so you can get anywhere in the city center in no time.
