Make yourself at home in Stroud Green. I've lived in this part of North London all my life and I'm excited to share it with you.
The whole flat is yours, with its own front door. Two bedrooms, each with a double bed, and two bathrooms (one with a bath and overhead shower, plus a separate shower room) mean nobody waits their turn. There's a living and dining area with a TV and a table for four by the bay window, a kitchen with a dishwasher, and a washing machine for longer stays. Bills and Wi-Fi are included.
THE FLAT
- Living and dining: sofa seating, TV, and a dining table with four chairs by the bay window.
- Kitchen: oven and hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, pots and pans, crockery, cutlery and wine glasses.
- Bedrooms: two, each with a double bed. Bedroom 1 has a clothes rail and a full-length mirror.
- Bathrooms: a bathroom with a bath and overhead shower, and a separate shower room.
- Laundry: washing machine, iron and hangers. There's no tumble dryer.
- Comfort: heating and portable fans (no air conditioning).
- Families: children and infants are welcome; a cot, travel cot and baby bath are available on request.
- Outside: a shared garden and patio with outdoor furniture.
ARRIVAL AND ACCESS
Stairs lead down to the flat's own front door, so it isn't step-free. Self check-in from 3pm with a key lockbox; check-out by 11am. The garden is shared with others. There's no parking.
SAFETY
The flat is all-electric, with no gas or boiler. Smoke and heat alarms are fitted, and there's a fire blanket.
HOUSE RULES
No pets, no smoking, and no parties, events or large gatherings. Up to four guests.
THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
Stroud Green Road is lined with independent cafés, restaurants and everyday shops. Finsbury Park is close by for fresh air, and the tree-lined Parkland Walk follows a former railway line.
GETTING AROUND
Harringay station is about a 3-minute walk along Stapleton Hall Road. Finsbury Park station, around a 20-minute walk, has Victoria and Piccadilly line Tube services and National Rail connections.

How you can cancel a booking varies depending on what stage the booking is in.
Is your booking request still waiting for host approval? Then you can simply cancel it directly from your My Housing web app!
However, suppose the owner has already approved your booking request, and you are no longer interested in it. In that case, you can still cancel the booking before you sign the lease agreement. Just consider that you should do this only in essential cases. Because when the host accepts your booking, the property is stopped being advertised, and they can lose the chance to rent their property to someone else.
