This charming house features a spacious living room with a fully equipped kitchenette, including a large refrigerator, a washing machine, a big dining table for 6 people, and a comfortable chaise longue perfect for watching TV. The very large bedroom has been beautifully restored to preserve its historic architecture, showcasing traditional star-vaulted ceilings (volte a stella) and authentic patterned cement tiles (cementine); it is furnished with a double bed that can easily be split into two single beds. The spacious, naturally lit bathroom is restored using sustainable, eco-friendly materials and comes with a window and a modern walk-in shower. Elegantly furnished throughout with restored antique furniture, the property offers a sophisticated yet welcoming atmosphere. Outside, a private balcony provides the ideal spot to enjoy breakfast in the sun. Located right in the historic center of the baroque town of Presicce, the house is perfectly situated between the sandy beaches of the Ionian Sea and the dramatic cliffs of the Adriatic Sea.

We are Margherita and my husband. We choose to move to this splendid historic village in Salento, where we live and work completely remotely, enjoying its Baroque charm and slow pace. For us, there is nothing better than taking a walk trough the village before starting work, letting ourselves be fascinated by the stunning Baroque architecture. In the afternoon we can have a walk on the sand on Ionio seas (you can arrive by car in 4 minutes) or walking in Santa Maria di Leuca (by car in 7 minuti). We love this lifestyle. Your apartment has been fully renovated to preserve the authentic charm of traditional Salento courtyard houses (case di corte). We renovated this house with a lot love for our families, using natural materials like plaster and beautiful restored furniture. Perfect for remote workers, it featured fast wi fi and dedicated workspace.

Once you send a booking request, the host is notified that you are interested in their listing. From that moment, they have 24 hours to approve or reject your booking.
Hosts are mainly interested in the profile of their guest. Do not forget to fill in all necessary information, add your profile picture, or even make a short video about yourself. Doing that will make you more attractive for the owner and your booking will more likely get approved.

While arranging a contract on Flatio, you do not have to worry that it could be disadvantageous for you. Our contracts are made so that we avoid all problems! All of them are the same, used by all the hosts on Flatio.
Your time is precious. That's why we've added a virtual tour option to our platform so you can see some of the rentals listed on Flatio from the comfort of your own home.
If a virtual tour isn't available for the accommodation you've chosen, you can contact the host and ask them if they're willing to give you a personal tour of the rental unit.
In the event that you move in and the rented accommodation doesn't match the information on Flatio, let us know as soon as possible!
If the conditions for the withdrawal are met and the host can't fix the issue immediately, you have the option to withdraw from the lease agreement with a full refund. We'll also actively help you find an alternative accommodation and remain by your side until everything is fully resolved.

How you can cancel a booking varies depending on what stage the booking is in.
Is your booking request still waiting for host approval? Then you can simply cancel it directly from your My Housing web app!
However, suppose the owner has already approved your booking request, and you are no longer interested in it. In that case, you can still cancel the booking before you sign the lease agreement. Just consider that you should do this only in essential cases. Because when the host accepts your booking, the property is stopped being advertised, and they can lose the chance to rent their property to someone else.
Do you have an approved booking and also a valid agreement? In order to cancel your booking, contact Flatio customer support well in advance of your contract beginning (the specific time and amount of refund depends on the type of cancelation policy).

The service fee is always refundable.
If you send a message to Flatio's Support Team requesting cancelation of the booking ("termination from the start date") within 48 hours after the lease agreement becomes valid, you're entitled to get back all the money you paid for the service fee.
After 48 hours, you're entitled to a refund of the service fee in the form of a "voucher" equal to the amount of the service fee you paid. The voucher can be used for your next booking and is valid for 12 months. If the service fee for your next booking is lower than the voucher amount, we'll issue you a new voucher for the remaining amount, valid for 12 months.
