Casa Alazul is a beautifully spacious detached house with panoramic views of ocean and landscape countryside. The kind of home you don’t feel the need to leave, but when you do you’re right nestled in nature and a short walk from a beautiful beach break, cycle trails, vineyards and riversides.
The house consists of three large double bedrooms which can be arranged as two twins, or a super king. There’s also a pop-up bedroom on the upstairs with privacy curtains and a balcony, plus a sofa bed in the lounge. Each room has post-surf yoga mats on the wall, a big built in wardrobe and nice mood lights and usb/c chargers on the ambient LED back lit bed boards.
The beach house is usually rented to private groups during summer, but in the fall, as the waves get bigger and the nights get cosier, it would be incredible to open up the doors to good energies to co-work, co-create and co-laugh-a-lot generally.
The first two weeks from 14th September will house myself a documentary and commercial filmmaker, some surfer friends who visit to work between surf sessions and whoever fancies taking the two spare bedrooms with coastal views. If you like the beautifully serene location and vibe - then you could extend for longer.
We have fast Starlink Wi-Fi, ample desks, and a wrap-around terrace to work and or workout from. The surf is five minutes away on foot, with clifftop trails either side connecting to Santa Cruz a cute Portuguese holiday destination with restaurants, bars and lots of events. Excellent for hikers trail runners and cyclists
It suits someone who wants company without noise — people working on their own things, who are free to surf, yoga, explore and cook together, and otherwise take time to yourself in real comfort.
There’s a shared well-equipt kitchen and a comfy lounge with a roaring fire, lounging space alongside two balconies. The garden with figs, grapes, clementines, nectarines, pears and apples, plus BBQs and a fire pit for evenings. Ample desk space, from the long dining table to the breakfast bar and desks around the property — a private bedroom desk can also be arranged if needed.

Best for a solo remote worker, couples or surfers looking for a household rather than a hotel.
