Sunny apartment with view to the Mirabello gulf

Spacious, sunny, villa-style apartment, with an amazing view of the Gulf of Mirabello. Fully equipped kitchen. Perfect location for touring the eastern portion of Crete, next door to the vibrant small city of Agios Nikolaos. Great location for stays in any season! (The winter 2026 weather in the Gulf of Mirabello was sunny with very little rain.)
Hosts very helpful & supportive in every way. I hope to someday return to Agios Nikolaos, & rent the same apartment!
Neighborhood
The villa sits on the hillside, a ways above the beachfront luxury hotels, along the gulf coast west of Agios Nikolaos. All the beaches and seasonal attractions ("tourist season" is April-November) are just a short walk down the hill.
I visited off-season, and went into central Agios Nikolaos for shops and restaurants, as it stays busy year-round.
Recommended places nearby
The town of Elounda for local hiking, both challenging (Oxa/Naxos hilltop ruins) & easy (trails on peninsula next to Spinalonga Island). Other great hikes near the lovely village of Kritsa - including the Kroustas Forest trail further up in the hills.
Don't miss the archeological sites of Gournia & Leto! Malia "Palace" site will reopen in April 2026 as well.
