Hi, I'm Nobuhiro Araki, the owner of Hakone Work Residence. While I visit regularly, my mother lives on the ground floor of the property and is always on-site to welcome you and assist with anything you need during your stay.
I created this space as a peaceful retreat where remote workers and travelers can find the perfect balance between focused work and natural beauty. Hakone has been our family's home for years, and we love sharing its hidden gems — the crystal-clear river just nearby, the local onsen, and the scenic mountain roads — with guests from around the world.
My mother is your friendly on-site host and is happy to help with local tips and recommendations. I am also reachable anytime for any questions or requests. We look forward to welcoming you!
