I am an economist. I enjoy meeting people from diverse backgrounds and always on the hunt for the next cultural deluge.

I have lived in Funchal since June of 2021.

I travel for work and during this time, I rent out my flat to someone that can look after my stuff and home whilst enjoying a beautiful island.

I like to read books on history, political philosophies and global affairs. I have plenty of books around the flat for anyone interested in exploring this material during their stay. I also enjoy reading travel books and biographies that cover stories from places off the beaten track including a collection of books on the the history of the Portuguese empire.

The flat is equipped with cable TV as well as Apple TV for nights of laughter and comedy shows.

I cook a decent amount at home and have quality cookware and a good selection of asian sauces and spices stocked up. For the outdoor eating days there are numerous bars and restaurants in the neighbourhood to pick from especially for sundowners with an ocean view and sunsets.
